Our designer worked closely with this client to ensure all requirements were met as their vision for this room was very specific. A high-end bathroom was specified with plenty of storage and for fittings to be chrome, but most importantly, not to be seen. Specification was clear in not having a white bath or toilet and therefore it was key that the right colour and trims co-ordinated with the room to achieve the "high-end" interior look and feel.
Storage
Storage was important not only for the functionality of the room but, also, to look stylish rather than just a cupboard on the wall. There are 2 large shelved units in the corner of the room discreetly placed next to a sleek radiator. Our client specified maximum storage underneath the basin which was achieved with deep drawers. On top were placed two Dansani basins elegantly matched with two gold style taps. Two round mirrors with lighting around the edge complete the look.
Lighting
Lighting is perfect in this room and not at all overpowering. Each area of the room is lit by lighting carefully placed.
We start with a stunning chandelier over the bath which adds a touch of romance to the room, cascading droplets of light around the space. The lighting around the bath is delightful and makes the bath truly stand out inviting you in straight away.
The Ashton & Bentley free standing bath was to be the focal point of this beautiful room. It stands symmetrically underneath the two large windows as is the tap that is exactly centre of the bath.
The final element of the room is the walk in shower with its luxurious body jets and a gorgeous shower head. A niche is set into the wall with 2 small spotlights which allows subtle lighting when desired.
Our client was overwhelmed with how it was finished, so much so we are going back to their home to design and fit the family bathroom.
