Choose the Right Bath for Your Interior!

Catherine Dove • Dec 06, 2017

Whether you are planning a whole new bathroom or just selecting a new bath, the shape, size and style of your tub is an exciting opportunity to transform your room.

It’s an exciting decision to make, but also a challenging one. You need to carefully consider the style, material, size and shape that is appropriate, and if you’re lucky enough to have a spacious room, you have an even bigger range of options to choose from. Here are a couple of ideas to get you inspired, so have a scroll and get in touch with our friendly team for more bespoke advice.

Single or Double-Ended?

Single-ended baths have the waste and overflow position at the end of the bath, meaning that one end has a slope and one end is more suited for showering, as there is no slope and you can stand closer to the wall. Therefore these can work well for those living alone and with limited space for both a shower and a bath. However, double-ended baths are more indulgent, perfect for enjoying a bath together with a partner or lounging with that little bit more space. With a central waste and overflow position, the bath looks more symmetrical and contemporary.

Traditional Roll Top Baths

With a distinctive and extravagant feel and a stunning curved body, these traditional tubs are a sleek and classy alternative to a contemporary style bath. Particularly found in restored historic homes or traditional period buildings, they fit in perfectly with a rustic interior. Alternatively combine this classy tub with a contemporary room to add a completely unique and edgy feature which will become the most complimented item in your home.

Free Standing Modern Baths

These tubs really make a statement with their elegant yet minimalist shape. Working best in larger bathrooms where there is space to walk around the bath, you can place these beautiful tubs anywhere in your interior; you can guarantee they will always be the centre of attention. Although many choose the traditional white, these baths come in a variety of colours for even more wow factor.

Lighting

Relax in all those bubbles in the perfect mood lighting ! We offer integrated spotlights for your bathtub or the surrounding accessories and furniture to create the atmosphere you crave after a busy day. We have a huge array of innovative lighting options, so get in touch with our team to discuss what could work best in your interior.

Side Space

Have you got accessories and clutter overrunning your bathroom? Think about a bath with plenty of side space; whether it’s for cosmetics, towels, books or ornaments, this space will be very convenient. No more quick dashes out of the bubbles to grab your magazine! At Options Studio we also offer a range of unique integrated storage choices, so don’t hesitate to have a chat with our team.

We know that these choices can often seem overwhelming, so our team are here to help you create the bathroom of your dreams. From the layout and style to product selection and installment, Options Studio are here to guide you through all the stages. For those who no longer wish to meet with designers in person or visit our showroom, we have created a new three-step design process which ensures you can achieve your dream bathroom without leaving your home. We feel it is important in bathroom projects that communication is clear and consistent, so that we can create the most gorgeous and suitable room for your needs and tastes. So that is why our new virtual design process has been cultivated to ensure that you are aware of all the options available to you and the choices we recommend at all times. Step One We have a new form on our website where you can send in images of your current room, including sizes and dimensions. When we receive your images, we will give you a call to discuss your requirements and what you hope to achieve from the room. Step Two Then, we'll get to work drawing up your new design using our CAD software. Step Three When your design is complete, we will give you a call to arrange a time when you can be sat in front of a suitable device; a desktop, laptop or tablet, where you can easily view the designs. During the arranged call, we will email you the images we have created, and we will discuss what we have designed, how we've designed it and how you feel about it. Then, when you're ready, we'll switch to video and give you a tour of our showroom , explaining what we have here and discussing things in further detail. Once we've come to the necessary decisions, we'll make a plan for the next step. Follow our Instagram ( @optionsbathtile ) to keep up-to-date on our latest designs, and to hear Steve talk through our design process! Ready to begin your project?
